Two people, one kiln
Kiln & Kin is Maya and Tom, a potter and a weaver who share a converted garage studio and a very temperamental kiln. We started making things for our own kitchen in 2019, and the kitchen ran out of shelf space.
How we work
- Small runs. We make a few dozen of each piece at a time, so things sell out and come back.
- Local clay, European linen. Our stoneware is dug in Staffordshire; our linen is woven in Lithuania.
- No plastic. Everything ships in recycled card and paper tape.
